  • My business is admin support and bookkeeping.  Thank goodness I embraced working from home and using online products/software, which made the current shift for me, almost hassle-free.  The only adjustment was that instead of going out and meeting my clients, this too had to take place online (e.g. email, zoom, whatsapp). My experience in this service offering afforded me to work on accounting software products such as Quickbooks, Sage, Xero, Wave, Sage VIP Classic Payroll, Simple Pay and Quickbooks payroll.

During this time I also take advantage of online lessons to be better at what I do and looking to learn something new to add to the skills set.

As for maintaining business, I communicated with my clients to find out how they are holding up, set up payment plans for work done, and offered some freebies.  I believe in treating your fellow man the way you would want to be treated.  Respect and goodwill goes hand-in-hand and I believe it grows a more trusting relationship.

Besides being in business to offer my services, make money and grow, one must never forget the human factors namely, respect, decency and honesty. They make a good business foundation for now and always.

Wishing all good health and stay safe.
